Rustic Design Inspiration: Colorado
While we're traveling we are constantly finding design inspiration. Whether it's the throw pillows in a hotel lobby, a reclaimed wood wall, tiling pattern or lighting in a restaurant. We had an amazing time in Colorado and left feeling so inspired! It was chock full of beautiful rustic modern design inspiration. We are always seeking ideas for our future home design while we're traveling.
We took so many photos that we decided in addition to our travel guide recap to Colorado, it deserved an interior design and architecture post all to itself. A few of the design trends we saw that we loved were large scale wallpaper, live edge bar tops, dark interior walls, open shelving, and reclaimed wood everywhere.
While we were traveling we would make a point of grabbing a drink or a dinner somewhere just to get a better look at its beautiful interior. We lucked out and had an insanely beautiful restaurant called Hearth & Dram at our hotel in Denver. The dark, moody, and industrial interior was full of rustic touches (& they made amazing cocktails). We also made a point in stopping in for a cocktail after stumbling upon Urban Farmer. Their space was cozy, inviting, and full of farmhouse modern touches like green indoor plants and a funky neon sign.
We hope you're feeling as inspired (& ready to hop on a plane) as we are after eyeing up all of these modern Colorado interiors.
