His & Hers | November Favorites
We thought it'd be fun to share a look at our monthly favorites of the moment. November in Wisconsin this year has been totally strange this year. The leaves have turned beautiful autumn colors, but there isn't that crispness in the air. In fact, we're both in short sleeves right now and it's a balmy 65 degrees!
So, we've taken it upon ourselves to make this month extra cozy. Count us in for all of the pumpkin & Oktoberfest craft beers, candles, and flannel. I'm sure we'll miss these sunny fall weekends when we're knee deep in snow in a couple of months!
Here's our take on a few things giving us all of the fall feels this month.
Lauren on her November Favorites:
When we were in Italy's northern city of Bolzano on our honeymoon, it got really cold! I broke down and bought this dusty pink sweater at H&M and am so glad I did. It's super cozy and reminds me of our trip whenever I slip it on. It looks great paired with denim or olive green pants.
The other things I'm loving this month? Essential oils (especially lavender) have been my favorite way to fight off everything from headaches to stuffy noses. The Beekman Boys are such a fun modern farmer duo to follow. I've been searching for the perfect Thanksgiving dessert in their heirloom cookbook. Last but not least, this rustic chic antler ring dish is perfect for storing my rings and looks so cute on top of my dresser.
Kyle on his November Favorites:
Fall makes Lauren & I want to jump in the Subarau and take a little road trip. Her mom got us this Wisconsin Supper Clubs book and we've made it an unofficial mission to try out as many Friday Night Fish Fry nights as possible.
My trusty field jacket & wood watch are two of my wardrobe staples this time of year. My other favorites for a cozy evening are mixing up some moscow mules in our copper mugs and lighting a P.F. Candle ("Amber & Moss" is my favorite, "Campfire" is Lauren's).
November has been a nice transition into the holiday season. Though truth be told, Kyle's had to hold me back from starting to watch Christmas movies! I'm going to try to take a step back and savor what's left of this year! 2016 has been oh-so-good to us.
What are you loving most this month?
